Kil'jaeden

Summary

Kil'jaeden is a 5 phase fight with abilities being added each phase.

Phase 1

In phase 1, 3 Hand of the Deceivers will be grouped (or seperated for safe strat) and killed utilizing stuns and silences to prevent Shadow Bolt Volley. They will also periodically cast Soul Portals that summon imps which explode on contact. These imps have low hp and about one hit will kill them. At 20%, the Hand of the Deceivers will become immune to stuns and silences and need to be finished quickly. When all 3 adds are dead, Phase 2 will begin.

Phase 2

While Kil'jaeden spawns, the raid needs to position in a 180 degree arc at the back of the room spread about 10 yards apart, which will be your general position for the rest of the fight.

He will cast Soul Flay on the highest threat target. And Chain Legion Lightening to 5 targets. He will also cast Fire Bloom on 5 random targets which does AoE damage to anyone within 10 yards. Additionally, Shield orbs will spawn on the northeast side of the boss and rotate counter clockwise dealing damage to random players. Range swap to orbs immediately.

Phase 3 begins when Kil'jaeden reaches 85% health.

Phase 3

Kil'jaeden will continue to cast all of his Phase 2 abilities with a few additions including 2 Shield Orbs now spawning.

Upon reached 85%, he will spawn Sinister Reflections which do considerable damage and need to be tanked and killed as soon as possible. The reflections only become active when hit with damage, so stop all cleave before hitting 85% and let a tank hit them first.

While dealing with Reflections, Kil'jaeden will also begin channeling Shadow Spikes for about 28 seconds. These will explode in an 8 yard radius dealing damage and reduce healing reduced by 50%. Move away from incoming spikes before they land.

After the Shadow Spike channel he will continue his Phase 2 abilities as well as Flame Dart Explosion. Stay spread out to avoid splash damage unless called to stack for the Blue Dragon's Breath:Haste which will make players immune.

1 Dragon Orb will become active after the Shadow Spike channel which a designated player will need to activate and become a Blue Dragon. They will use new abilities to provide buffs and shields to the raid. The Blue Dragon can use their blink ability to move around and provide Breath: Revitalize to healers and Breath: Haste to dps.

Watch Flame Dart and Darkness of a Thousand Souls cooldown as the raid will need to stack for breath and shield to avoid damage. Spread out again after stacking. If you have Fire Bloom, stay just outside the stack and move in right before Darkness of a Thousand Souls cast finishes.

Kil'jaeden must reach 55% before the 3rd Darkness of a Thousand Souls because the Blue Dragon only has enough health for 2 shields. Phase 4 begins when Kil'jaeden reaches 55% health.

Phase 4

Upon reaching 55%, Kil'jaeden will do the same tranistion of Phase 3 with Sinister Reflections and Shadow Spikes. 3 Shield Orbs will now spawn. Kill as quickly as possible.

Kalecgos will empower another Dragon Orb with the same abilities. All previous abilities will continue after the Shadow Spike channel finishes with one new abilities, Armageddon. There will be 3 active as any given time and they stop during the Darkness of a Thousand Souls cast. Make sure to move out of the hellfire graphic to avoid damage.

We will use Hero on Phase 4 after the first Dragon Breath stack. Kil'jaeden must reach 25% before the 3rd Darkness of a Thousand Souls because the Blue Dragon only has enough health for 2 shields.

Phase 5 begins when Kil'jaeden reaches 25% health.

Phase 5

Phase 5 has the same tranistion as Phase 3 and 4 with Sinister Reflections and Shadow Spikes. After his cast, Anveena will sacrifice herself stunning the boss and increasing the Holy damage he receives by 25%.

All 4 Dragon orbs will become active. 2 assigned players will use 2 Blue Dragons at a time communicating who is using Breaths and Shields during the stacks. Darkness of a Thousand Soul will cast every 25 seconds. Kil'jaeden will use all previous abilities exluding Shield Orbs.

Must kill him before the 8th Darkness of a Thousand Souls and all 4 dragons are dead.

Abilities

Hand of the Deceivers

  • Soul Portal: Summons imps that run towards nearby players and explode for large AoE damage. Low HP.

  • Shadow Bolt Volley: Deals 850 to 1150 Shadow damage to all raid members within 30 yards, and places a stackable debuff that increases all Shadow damage taken by 750. Stun/Silence until 20% hp.

Kil'jaeden

Phase 2 to 5

  • Soul Flay: Deals 3000 Shadow per second and reduces movement speed. Targets tank.

  • Legion Lightening: Strikes an enemy dealing 3000 to 3500 Shadow damage that arcs to another nearby enemy. The spell affects up to 5 targets, inflicitng dimishing Shadow damage to each successive target. Drains about 1500 mana.

  • Fire Bloom: Deals 1800 Fire damage on 5 random player and all other raid members within 10 yards every 2 seconds. Lasts 20 seconds. Stay spread 10 yards / Move out when stacked!

  • Shield Orbs: Orbs that spawn and float in a circle around the room casting shadow bolts at random players. Spawn on north east side of boss and rotate counter clockwise. Kill as quickly as possible.

Phase 3 (New Abilities)

Shield Orbs: 2 orbs will spawn. Kill as quickly as possible.

  • Sinister Reflection: Spawns four reflections of a randomly targeted raid member that look identical to the target, and have the abilities of the target's class.

  • Shadow Spikes: Bombards randomly targeted raid members with Shadow Spikes, floating towards the target's position upon the moment of cast and exploding. The explosion inflicts 51090 to 6900 Shadow damage to all characters within 8 yards and applies a debuff that reduces all healing effects by 50% for 10 seconds. Avoid during channeled cast.

  • Dragon Orbs: After Shadow Spikes, one of four Dragon orbs on the outside of the room will empower. When clicked, player will turn into a Blue Dragon.

  • Flame Dart Explosion: Deals 1663 to 1837 Fire damage, and deals 500 splash damage to nearby players. Reduces movement speed by 50%. Stay spread unless Blue Dragon's Breath: Haste will make immune.

  • Darkness of a Thousand Souls: Deals 47500 to 52500 Shadow damage. Stack for Blue Dragon's Shield of the Blue. Max 2 per phase 3 and 4.

Phase 4 (New Abilities)

Shield Orbs: 3 orbs will spawn. Kill as quickly as possible.

Armageddon: A hellfire graphic will appear on the ground in a random location for approximately 8 seconds before a meteor lands in its place that deals 10000 damage to anyone under it or in the immediate range around it. Move out!

Phase 5 (New Abilities)

Armageddon: Frequency increases.

Darkness of a Thousand Souls: Frequency increases, being cast every 25 seconds. Max 8 casts for phase 5.

Dragon Orbs: Anveena sacrifices herself stunning Kil'jaeden for a short time and increasing his Holy damage taken by 25%. All 4 Dragon Orbs are empowered.

Blue Dragon

Breath: Revitalize: Breathes arcane energy in a cone in front of the dragon, causing friendly units to regenerate 2250 health and mana over 10 seconds. Prio Healers.

Breath: Haste: Breath arcane energy in a 13 yard cone in front of the dragon, increasing the attack, casting, and movement speeds of friendly targets by 25% for 30 seconds. Also grants immunity to effects that reduce movement speed. Prio dps. Causes immunity to Flame Dart Explosion.

Shield of the Blue: Extends a powerful shield around the caster that reduces all incoming and outgoing damage on friendly targets within 10 yards by 95%, but drains 10% of the dragon's health per second. Lasts 5 seconds. Prevents damage from Darkness of a Thousand Souls. Watch Dragons HP.

  • Stun/Silence Hand of the Deceivers

  • Spread 10 yards to avoid Fire Bloom

  • Gain threat on Sinister Reflections

  • Split certain class Reflections

  • Move out of Shadow Spike

  • Move out of Armageddon hellfire.

  • Stack for Breath and Shield

  • Dragon pilot watch timers and call stacks

  • Stun/Silence Hand of the Deceivers

  • Range kill Shield Orbs asap
